Keywords/Meta Tags

Meta Tags are used by the search engines to determine how your website will rank in search engine organic results. These Meta Tags will not be visible to your website visitors and will only be used by search engines. This feature is for modifying your home page Meta tags but some of the fields below also acts as a master template for all other pages on your website. This means that although you can modify the Meta Tags for each page individually, some of the fields will be set for any page Meta Tag that you leave empty. Before modifying this page you should read our article about Meta Tags.

To enter your meta tags for your home page (also used as a default for all other pages):

  1. From the admin dashboard navigate to the "Website >> More >> Keywords/Meta Tags" page.

  2. On the Keywords and Meta Tags page:
    1. Enter you website's title, description and keywords.
    2. Click the "Save Keyword Changes" button at the bottom.

Additionally, each page in your website will have its own set of fields to edit descriptions, page title, and keywords. If no descriptions, page title, and keywords are set for an individual page then the descriptions, page title, and keywords you have saved using the instructions above will be used.

Click Reset Defaults to restore system default settings.

Set the Meta Robots to "noindex" if you do not want this page to be indexed in search engines. Learn more about Robots.

Custom tag (header code) field is for Advanced Users Only OR for pasting codes provided by trusted 3rd party tools such as tracking, verification, etc. If you are not sure what to enter here please leave it blank as incorrectly formatted codes can make your website inaccessible.
