Blog

Your website includes a built-in blog so you can publish articles, market listings, share neighborhood news, and keep your site fresh with content that helps you rank in search.

What is a blog?

A blog is a section of your website where you publish articles (called posts) that appear in reverse-chronological order, with the newest post on top. For a real estate professional, a blog is a simple way to share market updates, buyer and seller tips, community guides, and featured-listing write-ups.

Most blogs share a few common traits:

  • A main area where posts are listed newest-first, usually organized into categories.
  • An archive of older posts you can browse by date, category, or tag.
  • A way for readers to leave comments on your posts.
  • An RSS feed so readers and other tools can subscribe to your latest posts.

Where to manage your blog

You manage everything about your blog from the Blog menu in your admin panel. From there you can write and edit posts, organize them with categories and tags, moderate reader comments, and control how comments work.

  1. Open the Blog menu in the left sidebar of your admin panel.
  2. Choose the area you want to work in:
    • All Posts — view, edit, and manage every post.
    • Add New Post — write and publish a new post.
    • Categories — group related posts into topics.
    • Tags — label posts with keywords.
    • Comments — review and moderate reader feedback.
    • Discussion Settings — control how comments work.
    • Import — bring posts in from another blog.

Permission required: Contributor (Categories and Tags require Admin; Discussion Settings and Import require Owner).

Tip: Once published, your posts appear in the blog section of your live website automatically. Visit the Add Post guide to write your first one.
