What Is The Difference Between Pointing My Domain Name And Transferring My Domain Name?

Pointing a domain name means that the nameservers for that domain name have been modified to use our free DNS service. Your domain name will bring up your Zealder website. However, your domain registration account still remains at your current registrar. This is the company with whom you registered your domain name. You still must contact that registrar for any updates, changes, or billing inquiries regarding your domain name. This can be confusing, as you have accounts with more than one company.

Transferring a domain name account to Zealder means that you would have all your accounts with one company. This means that if you have any inquiries regarding your domain name, your website, or any associated email accounts, you could simply contact us. When you transfer your domain account to Zealder, included in the $15 (USD) fee is an additional year of registration for FREE.
