How Do I Read My Website Statistics?

Your website statistics live in the built-in Analytics dashboard in your admin panel—there is no separate report to download. Open Analytics from your main admin Dashboard to see how people find and use your site.

Permission required: Editor.

Where to find it

From your main admin Dashboard, open Analytics. Use the date range control at the top of any page to switch between Today, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, Year to date, or a custom range.

What the pages show

  • Overview — your key numbers at a glance: sessions, unique visitors, pageviews, average session duration, bounce rate, and conversions, plus trend charts.
  • Realtime — who is on your site right now, with live page hits and a recent activity feed.
  • Acquisition — where your traffic comes from (search, social, email, direct, referral, and paid).
  • Pages — your most-visited pages, plus entry and exit pages.
  • Audience — your visitors’ devices, browsers, and locations, and new versus returning visitors.
  • Conversions — your goals and lead funnel.
  • Sessions — a detailed list of individual visits you can drill into.

Sessions are visits to your site, pageviews are the individual pages opened during those visits, and bounce rate is the share of visits that viewed only one page.
