In this article you will find “Last year, approximately $41 billion dollars-worth of existing-homes were sold to foreign buyers.” That’s not bad considering the shape of the International Economy. Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY and Miami, FL were the top 3 cities searched by Europeans on Trulia.com.

European investors see this economy as an opportunity to expand their real estate. Since everyone knows what goes up must come down,  European investors are collecting US real estate and waiting to capitalize on that theory. This is definitely an investor’s market right now. If you have cash, you are going to get a great deal. Whether you are American or not, getting a great deal on something is enticing.

The question asked in the title of the article is “Will Europe’s financial crisis stall foreign home buying activity?” The answer seems to be “no.” $41 billion seems to be a big chunk of the real estate sales for the US. The common stereotype for Europeans seems to be that they are frugal since they don’t tip. On the contrary, when it comes to real estate they are not afraid to throw down the big bucks. Just like American investors, European investors have money. Their pockets are not hurting because of this economy. Lower class citizens are the ones hurting. Lower class citizens are not likely to invest in US real estate but European investors are.

Come on, I know we all read “Rich Dad, Poor Dad.”  Kiyosaki taught us all how to make money off of real estate in today’s market. One major factor though is credit and cash. If you don’t have the credit or cash, chances are you can’t take advantage of his ideas. On the bright side, at least we have foreigners interested in investing in our country who have cash or credit.

$41 billion for 2011 is a huge contribution compared to the estimate of $10billion/year in the statement above. That’s more than quadruple. When all else fails, we can count on foreigners to invest in US real estate. Since immigration has a huge effect on the economy, I say-”let them in.”

This is definitely something I would think about as a realtor. My website would feature multiple languages to make sure that I am marketing to different countries that do not speak English. I would translate my website by going to www.translate.google.com. Each language I want to market to, would feature its own sub-domain. For example: www.Spanish.Mydomain.com or www.French.Mydomain.com. My other option would be to simply add the languages to my navigator as a separate page.

8 Effective Ways To Rank Higher On Search Engines For FREE

o you plunged into your marketing dollars and had a beautiful website created for your business. The site is up and running but whats next? You know that the more visitors you get on your site, the more profits you will see. So how do you attract visitors to your site? Permission Based Email Marketing Vs Bulk Email Services... The Ugly Truth

Imagine an email service that lets you send over 2,000 emails anytime you want. All of your clients, contacts, friends, etc will  receive a message via email with just a few clicks. This Super Service sends over 2,000 emails per hour with practically no limit on how many emails can be sent. They also offer an email list of about 150,000- 1M email addresses. What business would not want to reach an extra 150,000 potential customers for a low price?  If I had 3,000+ contacts  I would definitely want to take advantage and send one email campaign and be done with it. Who has time to wait for 200 emails to be sent per hour with a limit on how many emails can be sent? Definitely none of the realtors or brokers I know. With over 3,000 of your contacts plus an extra 150,000 contacts the bulk email service is providing, you should expect to have your inbox invaded by responses to your email campaign. Sounds enticing right? Well, not quite so. My experience with bulk email services was a lousy one…

One hour goes by and I see nothing. Two hours go by and I have about two emails in my inbox but they have nothing to do with the emails I sent to my contacts. At this point, I start to doubt myself. I started to think, “Did I possibly send the email campaign incorrectly. I know I didn’t double check my work but a task so simple should have no room for error.” I waited by my computer desperately hoping and anticipating some type of response. Three cups of coffee and 8 hours later and no responses. I start to frantically worry. I knew at least 100 people on that list that were dying for that type of house to go on the market at that price. “Did I do something wrong? Did I say something wrong? Could all of those people have found their dream house so soon which is why they haven’t responded to my campaign?” Then it finally hits me like Ike did Tina. “Why don’t I call a few people on my contact list and verify that indeed they did receive the email campaign? That way I can be sure that I am not crazy and I did send out the campaign.” Smh.

I called my first contact and confirmed that they did not receive the email campaign. Same goes for the next 19 on my list. My assistant and I spend days calling my contacts only to come to the same conclusion, only about 2% of my contacts received the campaign. I thought a bulk email service was supposed to save time, not waste time? Geesh!

This is a similar scenario for anyone that invests in bulk email services. You are promised something like an “unlimited” amount of email campaigns sent from that server. In reality what you are getting is exactly that- an “unlimited” amount of email campaigns being sent from that server. They forget to tell you that they do not promise that the campaign will be received and that the campaign is sent to random email addresses that are most likely not interested in your service. They also don’t tell you that it is a waste of time and money because in fact only about 2% of your contacts will receive the campaign.

This whole concept has to do with “spamming.” A server that sends a huge amount of emails at a time is blocked by the receiving server as spam. If I am speaking a little too technical, I will break it down like this: If just .01% of the contacts in your campaign decide to to treat your email as spam, your entire server will be considered spam and your server will be blocked from the ISP it was trying to reach. .01% of 3,000 is 3.33. That means that if out of those 3,000 contacts, 3 of them treat your email as spam, that entire server is blocked.  This process only has to happen one time for that bulk server to be blocked. Therefor, if their first customer had that situation happen, then the bulk server’s entire server has already been blocked since day one. By the time you hired them, they were already considered  spam servers. That’s right ladies and gents, your entire campaign  has just been blocked and treated as spam because the server you hired to send out the email campaign is a company considered to be a habitual spamming server.

The reason for this is to protect email accounts from spam. No one wants to be harassed on a daily basis by annoying emails. Unfortunately, some company’s businesses thrive on emails. They are naive about the whole concept of spam because as far as they are concerned, they are not sending spam. They are sending out an email campaign to clients that are interested in receiving emails from their company. That is not the definition of spam. Spam is emails that were sent to you uninvitedly. So why should your emails be treated as spam when in fact they are not?

Unfortunately, the spam filters are just robots. They do not know when an email is expected or not. What they do know is the history of the server the email is sent from. Just like the saying goes- “You are who your friends are.” Well,  something similar can be said for email servers as well. “You are who your email server is.”

In order to send a big amount of emails from a server, it takes a good standing relationship with the major ISPs like Google, Yahoo, etc. The relationship does not happen over night. You must nurture it like a flower. If a bulk email server sends out 10,000 emails as an email campaign, the ISP is going to block that campaign. The ISP prefers to block all 10,000 emails from being received even though only a few would have been spam. The ISP  will block them before they possibly get 10,000 unsatisfied email clients all receiving spam. On the contrary, if a permission based email marketing server sends out a campaign, they are not going to send 10,000 at a time. They gradually send out the emails. The ISP does not send out a red flag because a few hundred emails every few hours from that particular server is the norm for that server. That server nurtured the relationship between itself and the ISP for the ISP to know that it sends out a few hundred emails frequently and they are not spam. As their relationship blossoms, so does the amount of emails that may be sent from that server. It is a time consuming process for permission based email servers but the customers get to reap the benefits.

Permission Based Email Marketing is the opposite of Bulk Email Servers. True, they have limits on the amount of emails that may be sent, but at least you know that ALL of your contacts will receive the email you intended on them receiving. It is not a waste of time nor money. What you see is what you get.  All of your hard work and time are going to good use.
